This Is War... [Dead God's Wrath - Odette]
February 26, 2011
Esme, John, Odette, Dead, Gods, Wrath
Since her mother left Odette has been looking after the temple and the fire, being the one who guides the fellow Vestal Virgins in their daily duties. But as she approaches the flame itself, it goes out...This scares her, because as she knows if it goes out her mother's favour has gone away and with no word from her she gets worried, scared. As she's feeling dark creatures start to appear, a forewarning as the humans (thinking the goddess turned her back on them) attack the temple, wishing to remove everything to do with the goddess from their lives.
They attack the Vestal Virgins, killing all of them. Odette witnesses most of it and hides when they enter the room she is in, watching one of her friends being killed. There is nothing she could do, and she attempts to flee...But she's caught on the stairs and one of the soldiers knocks her back down them, the young woman falling unconscious at the bottom. The humans leave, leaving the entire place (once a place for protection and refuge) in ruins.
Odette awakes slowly to the sound of someone around her, and she's scared. The sight of a young woman and man frightens her, fearing the same outcome as her friends. But it turns out they are not going to hurt her, the two informing her that no one is alive but her. She becomes upset and angered, suddenly vowing that "This is War..." between her and the humans, unaware of the very war that is going on.
Moral of the story; Don't mess with Hestia's kid!
Now I play Odette, Esme belongs Puppyeyes92 to and John belongs to LithonielPwns.
Pretty much a wake up call video for Odette, also a joining video for her to Esme and John. She had some learning to do with what is going on...Of course with how she feels, she's not adverse to joining a fight, she's not defenceless after all.
